Jadon Sancho has been left out of the Borussia Dortmund squad that will play Bayern Munich in Wednesday’s domestic Super Cup, sky sports reports.

Manchester United are expected to make a ‘take it or leave it’ offer for the former Manchester City academy player after failing to meet his £108million price value on August 10, a deadline set by Dortmund for the 20-year-old.

The DFL Super Cup is played between the winner of the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal competition. Since the Munich side won a domestic double last season, they will play the runners up of the league on Wednesday, September 30, 2020.

Their key player, Jadon Sancho has been left out of the squad with no reported injury whatsoever as a move to the Premier League seems likely with the transfer window nearing to a close.

"We know where Borussia Dortmund stand on this, which is they valued Jadon Sancho at £108m and they set that August 10 deadline - but Manchester United have done things in their own time and they don't feel £108m is realistic,” Dharmesh Sheth told The Transfer Show.

"They said they would not be held to a deadline, and United are expected to make an official bid this week. It is likely that the Sancho offer will fall on deaf ears as it's too late. They will claim they're not in the market for a replacement with six days to go, so Sancho will stay at Dortmund."

The Red Devils will offer Dortmund £90m; £75million upfront with a further £15million in add-ons.
