The Ghanaian media personality Abena Korkor has disclosed that the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Director-General of the National Lottery Authority, Sammy Awuku have reported her to the office of the Criminal Investigation Department and has filed a case against her.
Abena Korkor on her Instagram page revealed a WhatsApp chat between her and Dr. Yankson of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) requesting her presence at the CID department today, 1st February 2022 at 10:00 am.
According to the screenshot WhatsApp conversation, the CID revealed that Sammy Awuku has reported Abena Korkor for offensive conduct.
It would be remembered that Abena Korkor has mentioned the politician’s name as one of the men who have allegedly slept with her.
Sammy Awuku believes Abena Korkor's charges of having an intimate relationship with him are all lies and that the public is being misled. Meanwhile, Abena Korkor still stands by her words that she had a sexual relationship with Sammy Awuku. Given this, Abena Korkor has also decided to file a case against Sammy Awuku for the following charges:
She wrote,’’1. For allowing Afia Akoto and John Boadu to publish false information about her on the MyJoyOnline platform that all she said about him (Sammy Awuku) were lies.
- Second, for defaming her and labeling her a psychopath while both Sammy Awuku and she are aware of their sexual relationship. Please who can help me file a case against Sammy Awuku".
Even though she mentioned the name of Sammy Awuku for the first time last year, the politician’s camp did not respond well.
However, it appears that Abena Korkor’s choice to bring up the name again three days ago, together with the claim that Sammy Awuku is supposedly attempting to k!ll her, is the final straw.
