Water issues at Yipelgu have grown worrying and it's affecting the well being of the people, who are calling on the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo to come to their aid.

Residents are not happy with how the District Assembly is treating them, following years of facing the water challenges.

According to reports, the youth every year mobilised themselves to organise communal labour in order to set up a man-made dam to help them during the dry and rainy season yet the decision proves ineffective.

Residents cover so many miles to search for water and for over years now, no government agency has even planned to assist them to put an end to the water crises

They have therefore appealed to government agencies, Npn Governmental Organisations or philanthropist to come to their aid.

More to come...
