Southampton manager, Ralph Hasenhüttl has been named as the Premier League manager for the month of July.

It is the first award of the Manager after missing out on the former when nominated in January to Jurgen Klopp.

He is also the first Australian to win the award in the Premier League.

The Saints manager claimed the prize after overseeing an unbeaten month, which began with a 1-0 victory over second-placed Manchester City followed by three successive draws including a last-minute leveler at Old Trafford with Manchester United.

Hasenhüttl saw off challenges from Pep Guardiola, Jose Mourinho, David Moyes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Jurgen Klopp has won the award five times this season, with Lampard, Sean Dyche, Nuno Espirito Santo, and current winner, Ralph Hasenhüttl winning it once in the nine calendar months.
