Protoa Goes Digital To Assist Drivers Ease road accident

The purpose of the Tracker is to help all road users to have safe travel from one place to another by following the country's road safety regulations.

As part of eradicating road crashes in the country, it has been a major task for all to add effort towards making the agenda achievable.

The Universal Consultancy Links (UCL) in consultation with the progressive Transport Owners' Association (Protoa) has built up a digital device tracker call The Telematic Road Safety System for road safety.

The purpose of the Tracker is to help all road users to have safe travel from one place to another by following the country's road safety regulations.

The tracker comprises all the vital information that may be needed for safeguarding the road users in their traveling.

This program was brought down to PROROA Union Branch at Aflao to show and display to the drivers how it is used and it was held at the forecourt of Protoa Office inside the Aflao Border Main Station Wednesday 28th Jan. 2022.

Present at the launch were the  Officials of UCL, Representatives of  Protoa from Accra,  Ho, Denu, and Aflao also their National Chairman who happen to be the Chairman for Aflao branch together with the drivers.

The drivers were thought how to use the machine and their body temperatures were also checked by the Health providers as they were also allowed to ask questions about the device.

Based on the information, this they put in 3 ways which are:
1. Know Your Passenger
2. Know Your Driver
3. Know your Vehicle 

With this, all the vital information about the road users being the passenger's Drivers and their vehicles will bé known and the tickets will be printed and issued out to passengers so that in case of any problem they can be traced.

The organization is poised using the tracker well will massively assist the fight against road crashes.
