They have, therefore, described as a complete traditionally lawful, genuine, legal, customary installation of a 46-year-old famous Ghanaian business entrepreneur which has been installed under the stool name, Nii Ayi Kojo V.
This comes on the back of a 6-year dispute among varying factions who were laying claim to the throne, usually ending up in ill-feeling among the feuding groups.

The Ga traditionalists made statement in an interview with Soireenrws.com to clear the air after the Paramount Chief (Mantse) of Akumajen Traditional Area in Ga Traditional Council, Nii Ayikai III performed the necessary rituals to usher Nii Ayi Kojo V into the royal stool room of Akumajen Traditional Area on Thursday June 15, 2023.
The performance of the rituals by Nii Ayikai III signified the Ga traditions and customs that the new traditional leader of Ayikai Doblo will rule under the stool name, Nii Ayi Kojo V.

Nii Ayi Kojo V signed letter of recognition as well as the letter of rules and regulations of the Akumajen paramouracy which has attested to the fact he was legally installed chief who was accepted into the fold of chiefs under the Akumajen Traditional Area.

This is because Ayikai Doblo community is under the Akumanjen Traditional Area in the Ga State.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews. com, Nii Ayikai III, they have legitimately nominated, elected and selected and installed Nii Ayi Kojo V as the legitimate Ayikai Doblo Mantse.

He explained that the uniqueness of the installation was the peaceful and proper procedural steps taken for the installation in the accordance with Ga tradition.

He added that the Ayikai Doblo Divisional Stool has installed Nii Ayi Kojo V after the chieftaincy seat become vacant since the substantive chief of the area, Nii Ayikai Doblo III died in the 2017 which is about six years now.

He stated categorically that Ayikai Doblo land is a recognize stool under the Akumajen stool,. stressing that this historical fact was existed since he has been installed in 1968 to succeed the late substantive Akumajen Paramount Chief, Nii Ayikai II, known in his private life as Mr.Jacob Vanderpuye.
"Some of the elders who played some traditional and customarily rules to install me are Ayikai Doblo although they were demised to their glory memories and that this has been the historical records of the Akumajen Royal Stool in the Ga State.

"...but these small small boys who are now claiming the owner of the lands in the Ayikai Doblo area wanted to distort the history of the area by way of going round peddling series of falsehoods that the Ayikai Doblo land is the family land and that it's not the stool land under the Akumajey Royal Stool.
These criminals had engaged in these lies ostensibly to support their illegal land transactions to dupe unsuspecting Ghanaians land developers," he stressed.

Nii Ayikai III maintained that he knows all the traditional and family lineages in Ayikai Doblo and that whatever rituals "l have performed today to install Nii Ayi Kojo V are completely genuine, lawful and legitimate and that nobody can challenge me because l am only Akumajen Mantse in the Ga State."

"I am using this opportunity to set the records straight to the general public, particularly the national security operatives that Amu Dodoo has never imposed himself on the elders and people of Ayikai Doblo as their chief but he his is the rightful and qualify candidate selected, screened and  installed to ascend the throne of Ayikai Doblo Divisional Stool," the Ga traditional ruler further stressed.

Nii Ayikai III noted that he has installed the new Chief of Ayikai Doblo, which has signified that there is absolute peace and unity in the area, calling on the few disgruntled citizens of Ayikai Doblo to bury their difference and join the new chief to bring the needed development to the area.

The Akumajen Mantse, has therefore cautioned all who wish to buy lands at Ayikai Doblo to ensure that they transact business with the new chief and shun dealings with any unauthorized persons.
