Ave Council of Chiefs Warns Akatsi North Residents to be Weary of Imposters
Ave Council of Chiefs says Akatsi North Residents and the general public should ignore the accusations by imposters leveled against the Akatsi North DCE, Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu

Executives of Ave Council of Chiefs in the Akatsi North District of the Volta Region have stated categorically that certain groups of chiefs who attacked the integrity of the Akatsi North District Chief Executive (DCE), Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu are charlatans.
The Ave Council authorities say those chiefs are not members of the council and therefore the public should treat them as imposters who want to tarnish the good image of the Akatsi North District Chief Executive.
A group of Chiefs in the Akatsi North District who claimed to be members of the Ave Council of Chiefs in the middle of last month, January 2021 had accused the Akatsi North District Chief Executive (DCE), Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu of not involving them in decision making. They said the DCE has shown gross misconduct, and incompetency therefore President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should not reappoint him.
However, a statement from the Ave Council of Chiefs signed and issued by its President, Torgbui Nyamekor Glakpe V, and 2nd Vice President of Ave Council of Chiefs, Torgbui Tamekloe XI states that the general public should ignore the accusations leveled against the DCE by “those imposters”.
"We want to call on the general public to ignore the importers because they don't have traditional and Chieftaincy capacity to call for the removal of the DCE from his office," the statement advised.
The Ave Council of Chiefs claims all allegations leveled against the DCE are factually inaccurate statements.
The Ave Council of Chiefs says Dr. Amuzu is a hard-working DCE who has so far worked beyond expectations therefore President Nana Addo should consider and maintain him.
"We shall not be tempted to speak on this matter again, but rather we shall commit our time and resources to work to bring peace and unity amongst all Chiefs of the Ave Areas."
Subsequently, we are pleading with President Akufo-Addo to maintain our hardworking DCE, Dr. Prince Sodoke Amuzu, and also honour him with any other appointment he deems fit so he can do more for us.
