President Akufo-Addo to take a 7-day leave

During his leave, President Akufo-Addo will travel to France to preside over a panel that will adjudge a debate in the French Parliament on November 19.

President Nana  Akufo-Addo will from November 13 to November 20, 2021, take a weeklong leave.

The Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin made the announcement on Thursday, November 11, during a meeting with the press at the Jubilee House.

In his absence, the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will act in his stead in accordance with Article 60(8) of the Constitution.

Mr Arhin disclosed that during his leave, President Akufo-Addo will travel to France to preside over a panel that will adjudge a debate in the French Parliament on November 19 and is expected to be in Ghana on Saturday, November 20.
