The District Chief Executive(DCE)  for Gomoa East in the Central Region, Honourable Solomon Darko Quarm has revealed to the media that President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa has responded to the plea of Kasoa residents.

According to him, the entire Buduburam Ghettos and the refugees camp would be demolished soon to end criminal activities in Gomoa Buduburam and Kasoa.

Solomon Darko Quarm affirmed that the place is harbouring a lot of criminals hence President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo's command to the Local Assembly to pull down all the buildings and ghettos.

''Buduburam Refugee camp has been a hideout for criminals due to the nature of their structure and their style of leaving," he said.

Soireenews reported earlier about the killing of people and attacks of innocent people by criminals in the area.

Mr Solomon Darko Quarm has called on the people leaving in the ghettos to advise themselves else they will not spare anyone when they are ready for the demolishing.

He disclosed this to the media when he was inspecting the ongoing construction of some section of Buduburam Road to end vehicular traffic on the road Kasoa-Cape Coast road.

The DCE assured the people of Gomoa East that all bad roads in the district will be constructed to boost the local economical activities.

He also encouraged Ghanaians to have confidence in the New Patriotic Party(NPP) government and throw their support to develop Ghana.

In addition, the Chief of Gomoa Buduburam, Nana Kojo Essel commended President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and DCE for working hard to eliminate Buduburam Traffic Situation.

Some residents in the area expressed joy over the green light given by the president to demolish the refugee camp.
