Legal Practitioner, Lawyer Acheampong Francis has disclosed that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo can assent to the Electronic Transfer Levy Bill (E - Levy Bill) without court Injunction.

Lawyer Acheampong Francis disclosed this in an interview with Soiree News reporter Nana Anfreh Damanata alongside Minority Leader, Haruna Idris, Mahama Ayariga, and Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa has filed a suit at the supreme court to annul the passage of the E - Levy Bill.

The controversial E - Levy Bill was passed on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, by the majority in Parliament but the minority agues based on the recent supreme court ruling on Justice Abdulai v Attorney General that the majority did not have the quorum to pass the Bill.

But Lawyer Acheampong Francis has said that if the plaintiff files suit without injunction then-President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo can go ahead to assent the Bill while awaiting the outcome of the supreme court ruling.
