Honorable Ursula Owusu, Minister of Communication and Digitalization, has cautioned the general public, particularly young girls, to refrain from uploading nude images on social media since it is a severe crime punishable by the law of the country.

According to the minister, sharing nude photographs with others is also a crime, and Ghanaians must refrain from doing so.

The minister made the remarks in Acherensua, in the Asutifi south district of the Ahafo region, following the training of 1,000 young females in ICT.

She encouraged them to pursue an interest in ICT and put what they had learned in the program into practice.

In his speech, the Ahafo Regional Minister, Honorable George Yaw Boakye, encouraged the young girls to create something new from what they had learned.

He urged the ladies to seek expert guidance from their mentors in order to define their careers, particularly in the sector of information and communication technology.

Technology, he claims, has brought a variety of chances to make life easier while also making it more competitive.

Juliet Delali, a 12-year-old Sankore D/A JHS student, was the winner of an ICT competition organized in the region.

She was awarded GH 3,000 in cash, a certificate, and the development of an ICT lab center in her school.
