Popular Kannywood actress, Hajiya Zainab Musa Booth is reportedly dead.
The daughter, Maryam confirmed her death in a post via her Instagram account on Friday, July 2, 2021, though she failed to state the cause of her death.
According to her, the 61-year-old died on Thursday night in Kano.
She also said that her mother will be buried after janaza (funeral prayers) at her Court Road residence at 8 am today, July 2.

Posting a picture of Booth, the actor took to the caption section and wrote. “By Allah’s Grace, Haj Zainab Musa Booth has passed away, and her funeral will be held today at her home facing premiere hospital on court road at 8:00 am. God showered her with mercy, and made paradise her abode, amen.”
Booth was popular in the Hausa movie industry for portraying motherly roles in movies.
Hajiya Zainab Musa Booth left behind four children and two grandchildren.
