According to Uganda's New Vision newspaper, "poor people will not go to heaven because they offend God every day through lamentations and accusations."
Those remarks were reportedly delivered by Internal Affairs Minister Kahinda Otafiire at a school event in Kyenjojo, western Ugandahile teaching children that hard effort was the remedy to poverty.
