Police assure Obuasi residents on protection

The assembly member for Anyinam electoral area is excited for Obuasi not recording a murderer-related case before during and after this festive season.

Speaking to soireenews Nana Yaw Opoku in an interview with Hon. Richard Cudjoe, expressed gratitude to the security in Obuasi for putting vital measures in place for the people of Obuasi witnessing the free murderer Christmas celebration

The Obuasi police Command is committed to combating crime within the municipality.

Speaking to DSP Martin Assenso, the Obuasi police Commander, he assured of bringing perpetrators into a book for residents to withness peace.

He added that their goal of celebrating 2021 Christmas without recording any murderer case was achieved due to strengthening security and with support from the general public.

 Soireenews engaged some authority in Obuasi on the Eve of Christmas, to seek measures in place to curb violence which occur during occasions, in Obuasi, which they pledged of free murderer Christmas celebration.
