Mauricio Pochettino has praised Kylian Mbappe's faculties on the field of play, promising to help him turn up the key in games for the best of the French side.

The former Spurs boss took over from Thomas Tuchel, who was axed by Paris Saint Germain. He was unveiled on Tuesday at a press conference and per his words, Mbappe's definition will be very helpful in his project.

"It is an incredible group with very great players, but that is not news," Pochettino declared as quoted by Marca.

"A great player like Mbappe can play in many positions. The most important thing is how he attacks the spaces, how he is on the field, like the rest.

"We will find the best place for him to better exploit its qualities."

The Frenchman has already told PSG of his intentions to change environment after the current season giving Real Madrid and Liverpool much hopes for the services of the 22-year-old.

His current contract runs out in 2022 and will not be signing a new contract after making it clear that he wants to continue playing outside France.

The arrival of Pochettino could lead to a change of mind yet the player’s decision has not tampered as his new manager plays his first game against Saint-Etienne on Wednesday.

Asked if he would land Lionel Messi in the summer, he replied, "But I already said that in the future there will be time to talk about those things. A great player is always welcome at PSG."
