The lessons from the 2023 edition of the non-denominational business initiative, Christianpreneures Ghana Summit(CGS) are expected to stay with patrons as they hail the organizers describing the experiences as eye-opening.

The event was hugely attended by captains of businesses, fellows from Academia, students, and emerging business owners some of which were from the informal sectors.

In an address, the Convenor, Mr. David Wincott underscored the urgent need for the much-hailed Christianpreneurs Ghana Summit. He said the CGS has come in handy to address emerging uncertainties in the business world, particularly during this time.

He said whereas it is increasingly becoming difficult to gather people for Christian events, one preaches through dealing with individuals.

He said Christians can preach to others through their businesses. In terms of his modus operandi for selecting resource persons, Mr. David Wincott revealed that the Lord God told him many people are in business but lacked the knowledge to be productive hence the basis for the selection.

Mr. Wincott believes that though many churches are already doing similar summits but the non-denominational status of his outfit makes it unique.

He is calling on individuals interested in changing their business narratives to seize the opportunity each time it comes up. Among the objectives of CGS is to empower individuals in the Christian faith to discuss challenges, ethics, objectives, and opportunities for doing business to stay afloat.

Themed, "Unlocking Success through Knowledge Acquisition", the organizers were confident businesses will transform with loads of knowledge espoused.

Professor Robert Kingsford- Adaboh, the Executive Trustee Chairman of the Christianpreneurs Ghana Summit addressing the gathering posed a question on how well one knew him/ herself.

The question, he disclosed points a person to the loads of untapped capabilities within which ought to be explored. According to him, the experiences during one's youth help in thought formation.

The Trustee Chairman likened life to a game that could not exist without a living system underscoring the need to work as life does not happen by chance.

According to the Vice Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, University of Ghana, Professor Dorcas Osei-Sarfo, research will be key for one to make an impact in the world of business.

She revealed that research plays a major role in knowing what a particular group of people want, how and when they want it.

Professor Dorcas Osei-Sarfo further highlighted that research unveils several components in business including how one's customer wants a product to be with a corresponding pricing regime therefore urging the gathering to adopt research. On his part, a Chartered Accountant, Advisor, and Chartered Banker, Mr. Kingley Hayford believes that one has to be offensive in attacking strategies to command wealth.

According to him, business persons must be focused on business goals while exploring proper planning to make the business impactful.

While entreating participants to venture into business as it was not prudent to rely on a single source of income, he cautioned that keeping one's focus on the "ball" will be the sure way.

Mr. Kingley Hayford reminded participants that God did not leave anyone without a gift, therefore urging participants to consciously identify their capabilities for commercialization.

Concluding his session, Mr. Kingley Hayford challenged the gathering to work on acquiring skills if they must make an impact in business.

A Medical Practioner and Wellness Consultant, Dr. Kelvin Owusu observed that to subdue the earth, healthcare must be made a priority. He maintained adding long life should never be a prayer point. That notwithstanding, he added that faith will be paramount in medicine, particularly for recovery.

To enjoy good health, Dr. Kelvin Owusu revealed that a conscious decision is backed by a deliberate action adding, "...at the end of the day, your health is your responsibility".

Digestion of food, according to the medical expert, takes at least four hours hence one expected to live a healthy life, should stay four hours after eating.
