Paramount Queen Mother of Sunyani Traditional Council to organise Clean Up Exercise on Saturday.

The paramount Queenmother of Sunyani Traditional Council, Nana Akosua Dua-Asor Sika Brayie, together with the entire traditional council has announced that they will embark on a clean-up exercise come tomorrow, Saturday 11th February 2023, dubbed "Omanhemaa Aprapra" to clean Sunyani township and it's environments.

The starting point of the massive "Omanhemaa Aprapra" will be from the old Palace, Area 1 Sunyani where the event will begin as early as 6:00 am to 12 noon to clean the streets, gutters and weed while disposing of all filt that has been gathered within the town and among others to collect all refuse to ensure Sunyani township is clean and neat.

The clean-up exercise will see the active involvement of the Paramount Chief of Sunyani, Nana Bosoma Asor Nkrawiri II and the entire traditional leaders together with the Municipal Chief Executive of Sunyani Municipal, Honorable. Ansu Kumi and the entire people of Sunyani.

The clean-up is part of an effort to keep the city clean and the people are being called to ensure a clean city where we can live and love our town as Sunyani has been seen as the clean city in Ghana.

The exercise will take place early Saturday morning and the organisers and the Sunyani Traditional Council are urging all the people of Sunyani to partake in this clean-up exercise to beautify the Sunyani township.
