The Breman Brakwa regent, Nana Hamid Nkongua has exposed that Nana Yamoah IV, the former chief, covertly packed all the stools in a secluded room and locked it with different padlocks.

According to Nana Yamoah IV,  his reason for the action was to give the stools a new environment comparing it to the former full of filth. He added that the stool he sat on as chief during his reign has been stolen and has accused the regent and his family as the prime suspect.

On Thursday, October 14, 2021, the stools belonging to chiefs in Breman Brakwa in Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District of Central Region were reported stolen.

The Omankrado stool, Nana Twafo stool, Nana Kyidomhene stool, Nifahene, the queen mother's stool and other sub-chiefs stools were all nowhere to be found.

This was as a result of a chieftaincy dispute between Nana Yamoah IV who is in pursuit of power after he was destooled by the Ajumako Traditional Council.

The suspects had earlier changed the padlocks for the house and the stool rooms before the disappearance of the items.
