Nkwanta South Member of Parliament donates bags of cement to breweniase health centre

The member of parliament for Nkwanta South in the Oti region, Hon Geoffrey Kini has donated one hundred bags of cement to Brewaniase health center to support the building of a laboratory unit at health center.

Speaking during the handing over of the cement to the Chief, the Nkwanta South Municipal health Director, the health committee of  Brewaniase, the legislature made it clear that one of his major priority is to see that his people are living in a good health because , without that people can not go on their daily activities.

The chief of Brewaniase made an appeal during their yam festival last year that they want to put up a laboratory unit at their health center so that all the Ntrubo communities that go there  for their health issues will not have to travel far to Nkwanta which is the Municipal capital or kadjebi district for lab issue hence the initiative.

The member of parliament therefore pledge to support the building of the laboratory unit till it's ready to be used because that was one of the steps his predecessors took by building a health center in the Brewaniase town led by the late Peter Kennyinso  former DCE for Nkwanta South and former Volta regional ministry Hon Hellen Adwoa Ntusuo  which thousands of people have benefited from as far as their health is concerned, the MP said.

The Paramount Chief of Ntrubo traditional area , Nana Okufredom Kowurah Odamba(ii) thanked the legislature for his kind gesture and also fulfilling his promise to the people of Brewaniase and even though he has done a lot for the people because he bought an  ambulance for the health center to aid them in their emergency situations and other medical instrument but still needs more of his support to race the facility to the next level.

The municipal health Director for Nkwanta South, Mr Evans Ativor also thank the MP for the support he has been giving to health directorate for health care delivery and also pledge that his office will do their best so that the project will be completed within a short possible time.
