ONWE RESIDENTS INVOKED CURSES ON THEIR CHEIF AND OTHERS FOR SELLING THEIR FARM LAND FOR SAND WINNING

Some Residents who are a royal family at Onwe in Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region have invoked curses on their chief, Nana Asokwa Danka Gyeabour ll, and other people for selling their farmland to unknown people for sand winning.
According to them, the land that they are using for *Rice farming* has been sold by their chief Nana Asokwa Danka Gyeabour ll and other people for sand winning without their notice.
They said the land was given to them by their ancestors for Rice farming so that the future generations will also benefit from the land.
Addressing the media by Mr. Akwasi Antwi who is the spokesperson for the family, he said, these rivers *River Oda, River Asrapong, River Asansu, Antonia Nyamaa, River Abura, River Ajanta, and other gods* should deal with anyone who sold the land, especially their chief, Nana Asokwa Danka Gyeabour ll.
