Only The Government Can Stop Street Crime - Stonebwoy

Stonebwoy is calling on the government to put an end to street crime.

The dancehall artiste, who hails from the street, maintained that the true street hustlers aren't the people committing street crimes.

According to him, hooligans have started taking advantage of the "street" tag, hiding under the struggles that people in the streets go through daily to commit crimes.

He made his assertions on the back of the high rate of street crimes in recent times.

"I think it's an organized Movement by these street kids to Harass pressure and steal from motorists in the name of hustle especially on weekends and this is some high level of threat to our security. how do we get them off the streets for the better"

"Hmmmmm and the crime level that this will breed will soon be unbearable". He noted.

Stonebwoy admitted that even though the popular slogan "Survival of the fittest" comes from the streets where he grew up, the slogan is used as a reminder to work harder and survive in harsh conditions and not as an excuse to steal from others.

He then asserted that it is not the job of influential celebrities like himself and his colleagues to stop the high rise in crime because the action lies in the hands of those in power.

"Addressing these pertinent issues is one thing but the action lies in the hands of power.."

"If you have some personal grievances Share them... but don't lose sight of the tag. @MoGCSP_Ghana ( this is an office of gov. Filled with politicians). I am a proud STREET boy but I don't encourage crime.. except ur ignorant of the effects of crime" he concluded.
