Okada rider drowns, body found in a Dam at Awuku Breku

Information emanating from Awutu Bereku in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region indicates that a 23-year-old motor rider (Okada) is said to have been drowning in a dam and died instantly.

According to sources, the deceased, Patrick Ofosu known as Nana Yaw Tupac whose girlfriend is pregnant went to the river alone whether to swim or do something else is yet to be discovered by the police after he was fished out from the water.

Some eyewitnesses at the scene in an interview narrated the situation that, they were in a state of shock since such an incident has never occurred in the area before.

The Vice-Chairman for Awutu  Breku Okada Riders Association, Emmanuel Appiah has alleged that the deceased might  have been killed by unknown assailants and was dumped into the water, at such calling on Ghana Police as well as the general public to assist Police with information to apprehend the perpetrators.

Finally, the mother of the deceased, Paulina Quaye also said, it been a while seeing his son, early yesterday afternoon and she had a call that this is what has happened, suddenly she rushed there and realized that it's true her son has drown in a dam  and died.
