OdumoduBlvck: "I want to be Nigeria's Wizkid of rap"
Rapper OdumoduBlvck from Nigeria claims he is capable of performing classic hip-hop like American artist Eminem, but he declined since Nigerians "don't understand" the genre.

He claims that melodious music is the only genre that Nigerians enjoy, thus in order to make his songs more financially successful, he "dumbed it down."
OdumoduBlvck recently stated in a podcast interview that he aspires to make Nigerian rap "exciting," much as Wizkid did with R&B in the nation.
"Some Nigerians did pure rap, but they didn't make it exciting enough to draw people in," he remarked.My rap has been compared to nursery rhymes by certain people.

When you listen to my rap, if you understand the lingo you get it once. You don’t have to go to any dictionary.
The rap isn't hard core. It's simple. I added excitement to it. Like Wizkid, I want to have an exciting and sweet rap style.
"I can rap like Eminem and these other guys, but nobody is going to listen to that stuff where I come from, bro." They're not aware of it.
