THE PARAMOUNT Omanhene of Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council in the Central Region, Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea II has charged all divisional chiefs, queen-mothers and other traditional office holders under the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area to focus on social and infrastructure development and desist from their continuous litigations which were affecting progress of the area.

According to the Omanhene, there's a high rate of poverty in Gomoa due to litigations and lack of employment and opportunities in the area.
Speaking to Soireenews.com, Obirifo Ahunako Ahor Ankobea ll encouraged all divisional chiefs under the Gomoa Akyampim traditional council to desist from litigations in order to move Gomoa development forward.
He made this remarks to journalists at Gomoa fetteh during the official launch of Obirifo Foundation to support girl child education, employment, health, teenage pregnancy and Agriculture to promote Gomoa development.
The Omankrado of Gomoa Asempanyi Nana Kumasah Krampah also expressed worry about the high rate of teenage pregnancy at Gomoa communities.
