The first female MCE of Nzema East Municipal Assembly was emphatic on Axim Tourism Development Enclave ongoing project. According to her, she is the representative of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in her municipality and she is going to champion the government development agenda aimed at improving the living conditions of the people in the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Madam Dorcas Elizabeth Amoah, has indicated her outfit commitment to ensuring the completion of all the ongoing social and infrastructural intervention development projects in Axim Traditional Area in the  Evalue Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency of the Western Region.
 
The first female MCE  in Nzema East Municipal Assembly was emphatic on Axim Tourism Development Enclave ongoing project.
 
According to her, as the representative of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufu-Addo, she is going to champion the government development agenda aimed at improving the living conditions of the people in the municipality.
Madam Amoah gave the assurance when she together with officers from Ghana Tourist and Monuments Board visited the Palace of the Chief of Barawire in Axim, Nana Edusei, and his elders to interact with them on developmental issues and ongoing projects at the Victoria Park in Axim. 
The Victoria Park is in front of Fort Saint Antonio, where national and local programs are mostly held, and serves as the venue where the Chiefs and people of Lower and Upper Axim Traditional Council celebrate their annual Kundum festival.
The modernized facility, which is being executed by the Freidoug Construction Limited will comprise a VIP Parking, Pre-Event Lounge, Restaurant, Multi-Purpose entertainment, Administration, Preservation of Shrine, Ground Control Barries, VIP Access, One-way traffic, paved or grassed.
Others include Subsidiary seating for 40 people, Guest seating for 225 people, Processing entrance or exit, and Seating for 60 Chiefs.
The facility is part of the Axim Tourism Development Enclave project being executed by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and Ghana Museums and Monuments Board (GMMB) to develop tourist places into standard ones.
Madam Amoah expressed her profound gratitude to the chiefs and people of Axim in the Evalue Ajomoro-Gwira Constituency for the overwhelming support given to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government for this facility to see the light of day.
She added that the facility when completed will attract more tourists and improve the local economy of the people.
The MCE thanked the group for the foresight to beautify the site St Anthony Castle and bring in income to the Municipality from tourists who will visit the site.
She noted that he was going to operate an open-door policy in the interest of fairness and transparency and said anybody was welcome to his office at any time.
Nana Edusei on his part gave his views on the current ongoing project at Victoria Park and welcomed the officers from Ghana Tourist and Monuments Board, and commended them for undertaking that project.
