The donation was done on behalf of the Buipewura Jinapor II by the Secretary, Neripewura Abubakari Kipson Panfia I on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the premises of the Command in Damongo of the Savannah region.

The Paramount Chief of the Buipe traditional Area, His Highness Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II has extended support to the military command,155 Armored regiments situated at Damongo with 500 bags of cement.

The Military command which was established a couple of weeks ago has about 500 Army personal in the Armored Regiment of the Ghana Arm Forces and currently occupying a temporal structure needs to build a befitting edifice as a barracks.

The Buipewura has fulfilled a promise he made to the command during their familiarization visit to his palace to register the 155 Armored Regiment set up in the Savannah region.

The donation was done on behalf of the Buipewura Jinapor II by the Secretary, Neripewura Abubakari Kipson Panfia I on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at the premises of the Command in Damongo of the Savannah region.

Receiving the cement on behalf of the 155 Armored Regiment, the Commander in charge, Lieutenant Colonel Aaron Osei expressed the Command's heartfelt appreciation to the Buipewura for the support.

“I will express our deepest appreciation to His Royal Highness Buipewura Jinapor II for this show of support to us,” The Commander said. 

The Command is currently undertaking the reconstruction of the camp and holds the support of the cement in high esteem and hope more benevolent support could come to fast track the work. 

According to the Command, the cement is the first gesture and hope it has come at the right time as the reconstruction of the camp is in process.

The 155 Armored Regiment promise to work in maintaining peace in the Savannah region.
