No well-meaning NDC member will hoot at Former President JDM-Dome Kwabenya NDC set records straight

The Dome Kwabenya Constituency National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chapter in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency has distanced it's self from a Viral Booing Video purporting to be targeting at the Former President, John Dramani Mahama during his Campaign Stop Over in the Constituency last Week.

It will be recalled that, former president and an aspiring Flag Bearer of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday 19th April, 2023 met the Party delegates at the Pentecost Church at Haatso as part of his Campaign during which a section of the Audience were spotted Chanting "Away, Away, Away" when Chairman Isaac Nii Lantey Lamptey was about to introduce Former President Mahama.

In a Press conference today at the Party's office in Kwabenya, the Party lead by the Secretary, Thomas Dodzi Tsoekeku and the Chairman Isaac Nii Lantey Lamptey have debunked the claims that, the Party has rejected former president Mahama in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency. In their Assertions, they accused the Party's Parliamentary Candidate for 2020 Madam Elikplim Akurugu for being the brain behind the Awkward act towards former president Mahama According to them, the people in the video were all wearing Madam Akurugu's T-Shirt and weilding a well planned inscriptions with Her Picture. Refuting the Video, Mr. Thomas Dodzi Tsoekeku called on all Ghanaians to disregard the video and treat it with the Contempt it deserves because, "No well-meaning NDC Member in Dome Kwabenya will hoot at the Former President Mahama", the statement added. He reiterated their pledge of giving Former President Mahama a 99.9% in the upcoming flag bearership Election. On his part,the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Isaac Nii Lantey Lamptey entreated the Party members to stand united and firm for the Party so that, NDC can win the Election 2024 and rescue the country from what he termed "the super incompetent NPP government".
