Newly Elected NPP Chairman for Yilo Krobo, Accusess his predecessors as Stingy Over Party Failure In The Area.

The newly elected NPP chairman for the Yilo Krobo Constituency of the Eastern Region, Alhaji Teye Wayo Abubakar has said that the previous leadership of the party in the constituency was stingy which has been reflected in the results of the elections since the party was formed at the constituency.

Speaking in an interview with Sorienews, he disclosed that, the leaders of the party in the Constituency including the party chairman and the parliamentary candidate's failed to disburse the funds allocated for campaigning for previous elections and also did not use their resources to fight to win both the parliamentary and presidential elections.

According to him, this might have caused the failure of the party to win the parliamentary seat from the opposition party for many decades in the constituency.

He said, "at my time as a chairman you have to sacrifice your resources to move the party and as they did, I will not do the same to bring the party down but will make sure all resources allocated to me to win parliamentary and presidential elections in Yilo Krobo Constituency will be disbursed accordingly without being stingy". 

He added "they k me since 1992, the party has not given me any contract but I use my money to support the party always" the chairman stated.

He concluded by urging all executives and supporters to come together in other to make history in the upcoming 2024 general elections by winning both the parliamentary and presidential seats for the first time after many years of struggling.
