NDC Nabdam MP Embarks On Healing And Reconciliation Process

NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East Region, Dr. Mark Kurt Nawani has embarked on a healing wounds, peace-making and reconciliation process.
Soireenews.com gathered that in the exercise the sitting MP highlighted ways to resolve internal wranglings in the party.
The MP together with his team visited the various electoral areas to undertake the process of healing and reconciliation.
Soireenews.com learnt that the MP has commerced the process of healing and reconciliation with the branch and polling executives as well as other leading members of the party in the constituency.
The MP also asked members and supporters of the party, to desist from engaging each other in war of words by using the media.
He rather encouraged members to use the appropriate structures within the party in solving conflicts.
The MP called on all members of the party to respect the party's structures and procedures in resolving internal grievances and conflicts.
In a news item by the leading member of the NDC, Madam Cecilia Asaga and captured by Soireenews.com reads in part; "I was privileged to be part of a very therapeutic reconciliation process that was initiated by the sitting MP for Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East."
She stated that "A big thank you to the sitting MP Hon Dr Nawaani, the constituency executives and all the stakeholders who did a fantastic job of ensuring the process was off to a flying start.
"Thank you all for inviting me; I thoroughly enjoyed taking part. I pray that the unity we so much need as a people and party will be forged and will prevail," he noted.
