My parents were negatively depicted by Young, Famous, and African reality program - 2Baba’s daughter, Isabella

The firstborn daughter of famed Nigerian musician 2Baba and his spouse, Annie Idibia, has voiced her discontent with the portrayal of her parents on the upcoming South African reality series "Young, Famous and African" (2022).

My parents were negatively depicted by Young, Famous, and African reality program - 2Baba’s daughter, Isabella

Annie was presented as a controlling wife in the first and second seasons of the reality program, putting up with her violent husband, 2Baba, proudly telling other celebrities in front of his wife that “men are wired to cheat.”

Isabella claimed that the portrayal of her parents in the reality show was "so wrong" in a recent video message that she posted on her X account. "It wasn't the best image and it wasn't completely accurate," she insisted.

"I feel that 'Young, Famous and African' depicted my parents in such an incorrect way," the woman stated.Everyone would say, "How would you know?" whenever I attempted to prove to them that my parents' account of events was false.

You remain a young person. By what means would you know? My family is not who you are. Everything you observe on social media becomes the basis of your knowledge. My experience living with my parents has given me this knowledge.

Because users of social media tend to think what other users want to think, I am unable to alter everyone's opinion on the platform.

In all honesty, though, they would never be aware of the real narrative behind anything that has transpired in my family or in the past before I was even born.

"'Young, Famous, and African' didn't present the best picture or give an accurate portrayal of my parents."
