Muslim Bigwigs Laud Madina MP For Islamic Holiday Bill
THE NATIONAL Conference of Muslim Kings, Muslim Paramount Chiefs, and Imams (NACOKINGS) has commended the MADINA MP for his efforts to champion Islamic Courses in Ghana through the introduction of two Private Member's Bills to introduce two additional Islamic Holidays.

According to Francis-Xavier Sosu, these Bills are to champion and in line with the vision of H.E. John Dramani Mahama promoted religious diversity, inclusion, and tolerance as part of his promise to the Islamic community.
The two additional Islamic Holidays Bills initiated by the Madina MP form part of his seventeen Private Member's Bills so far initiated at the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana since being sworn in, representing the most by any MP in the 8th Parliament.
The announcement and support by NACOKINGS further discounts earlier reports by a group named Coalition Of Muslim Organization Ghana (COMOG) which expressed displeasure about the MP initiating such Bills, clearly in contrast with the teachings of the Qur'an and interests of the Islamic Community in Ghana.
