The Regent of the Nanung Traditional area, His Royal Highness Nyelinbolgu Naa Yakubu Andani has inspected the progress of work at the Eastern Corridor road project.

The Regent of the Nanung Traditional area, His Royal Highness Nyelinbolgu Naa Yakubu Andani has visited workers of the Eastern Corridor road.

The visit aimed to familiarize himself with the progress of work on the much-publicized Eastern Corridor road and the pace at which the construction was being carried out.

The Regent on his part tasked the contractors to factor the needs of the locals, as part of their social responsibilities.

He also tasked the engineers to employ labours from the communities as a way of boosting their livelihoods.

He assured the engineers that the traditional authority's support in order to facilitate the project.

"My doors are always open any time you may need my assistance," he said.

The engineers on the other hand assured the Regent of their desire to finish the work within the scheduled time, provided funding for the project continues to flow.

They assured him that the project will be one of the best in the country when completed.

The engineer revealed that the Bimbilla township roads are part of the project, and it will become the first of its kind in the region.
