A leading Contestant in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) General Secretary position, Mr Iddrisu Musah popularly known as Musah Superior has been tipped as the potential winner of the NPP General Secretaryship race in the upcoming national elections.

Mr. Musah who already toured almost 99 per cent of the constituencies in the country has so far received a massive endorsement from the majority of the delegates ahead of the polls.

The NPP aspiring General Secretary who doubles as the foundation member of the NPP has so far visited the Central, Western North, Western, Northern, Upper East, Upper West, Eastern, Volta, Oti, Ashanti and the Bono regions in canvassing for votes.

At every constituency the NPP top shot visited, the delegates gave him a warm reception and overwhelmingly endorsed his candidature as the next General Secretary of the party.
The investigations conducted by Soireenews. com have tipped Mr Musah to emerge the winner of the NPP General Secretary after the polls.

According to our sources at the NPP headquarters in Accra, out of the 16 regions, Mr Musah will win eleven (11) and attain a good number of votes within the others to beat his compatriots in the elections.
The investigations were conducted using the entire delegate population who would be voting for the General Secretary on Saturday July the 16, 2022 in Accra.

All delegates to vote were queried without bias and favour and that the results therefore show a true outcome of what may happen on the day of the election.
The NPP delegates considered the abilities, self-reliance, self-respect, submissiveness, selflessness, competences, and commitment of candidates for helping the grassroot members of the NPP.

Candidates with good messages topped the chat as they felt those policies would help them and the party at large, and it was here that Mr. Musah was chosen to be the overall winner of the General Secretary position after the elections.
In his messages to the delegates to the NPP,
Mr. Musah who doubles as the Deputy Chief Executive (CEO) of Forestry Commission (FC)
in his message to the delegates preaches unity, and also calls on the other aspirants to display high grade of mutual respect before, during, and after the contest.
According to him, unity and mutual respect towards other contestants and all members of the party is his number one priority.
"All of us must show mutual respect to one another to prove to our opponents that there is a binding chord of unity amongst us so that Ghanaians would watch and say yes, this is a seriously determined party," he noted
Mr Musah, therefore reiterated his assurance to party supporters that he will lobby for jobs for them if he wins, adding the current leadership of the party has failed members when it comes to seeking their welfare.
Mincing no words, Mr Musah sent a strong word to his contenders that the NPP is at the point of making history and it therefore needs a leader who is not only educated but submissive, transparent, visible, approachable, assertive and visionary to lead it into the 2024 general elections, “and I am the one who has all these credentials even my colleagues know these.”
He assured that under his leadership he will also initiate party office infrastructure plan in all the constituencies in the country, saying that the party has competent people but has people that can excel the pillars of the party.
Mr Musah reiterated his assurance that when given the nod, his administration would ensure the provision of GH¢ 10.000.00 business development capital package for each of four thousand, six hundred and seventy five (4,675) NPP constituency executive in two hundred and seventy five constituencies (275) in the country.

According to him, the GH¢ 10,000.00 business capital package will be made available to every constituency officer of the NPP in Ghana under the Business Development Directorate of the NPP to be set up when elected as the new General Secretary in the upcoming NPP national executives election which scheduled to take off on 15 July to 17 July, 2022 in Accra.

He reiterated that credible statistics available to him after he toured most of constituencies within the country indicate that "sadly, 61% of the NPP 4,675 constituency executives in the  previous term of office from 2018 to 2022 were either unemployed or not in any meaningful business."

Mr. Musah who is very passionate about the development of the members and supporters of the NPP stated that the NPP constituency officers have no social authority to conduct party work more efficiently and effectively in their various constituencies across the country.

Lack of these viable economic empowerment initiatives under the NPP administration, according to him, has informed his decision to intend to design this economy empowerment programme for the party's constituency executives.

He added that adding that same economic empowerment programme will progressively be done for NPP electoral area coordinators of 5000 officers across the country when given the nod.

The General Secretary hopeful of the NPP reiterated his plans to establish a viable Business Development Unit within the NPP to give business support to the hard working members of the party, particularly those in the grassroot levels when he is given the nod by the delegates to win the slot.
When asked what are his aims to become the General Secretary of the NPP, Mr Musah stressed that his priority is to work closely with the officers of the  NPP, especially the constituency, polling station executives and electoral area coordinators who are the icons of the NPP.

"When given the nod by the delegates to become the general Secretary of the NPP, my number one priority is to find the way to work with these officers and other key members of the party in the grassroot levels so that we can find ways to bring before them economic activities that are viable.

"...so that when they are living well in their lives as human beings l can assure you that they can focus and sacrifice their lives to work for the party well, so this will be my number one objective," Mr Musah assured.

"How do l achieve these aims. To achieve this means that l should be pushing this agenda through the National Executives Steering Committee of the NPP so that they support in the establishment of the business development unit," he noted.
NPP is set to hold its national delegates conference on Saturday, 16th July 2022 at the Accra Sports Stadium to elect new national executives.
