Akufo-Addo, IGP Alert: Bloody Clash Looms In Ga Manhean Over Abu Majeed Inhumane Act Of Demolishing Buildings Without The Court Order
A DISTRESS CALL has been been to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to, immediately use his power as the Commander-in-chief of the Ghana Armed Forces ( GAF) to explore security measures to avert the looming bloody clash between the thuggish groups working for one Abu Majeed and members of Kwaku Datre Royal family, the allodial owners of Manhean lands in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region.

Thousands of land developers who genuinely bought their lands from the Kwaku Datre Royal family and grantee of the said land, the Chief Executive (CEO) of Unikings Ventures Limited, Mr Kingsford Takyi-Yankson working for the Kwaku Datre Royal Family of Manhean raised an alarm bell.

They stressed that President Akufo-Adfo, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare and other relevant security regulatory agencies and stakeholders should not wait for the bloods to be shed in Manheaa before taking security measures to safeguard the situation.
They noted that Abu Majeed and other defendants have ignored an interlocutory injunction given by the Sowutuon High Court in Accra restraining them from interfering with a disputed land situated and lying at Manhean near Ashalaja, till the final determination of the suit before the Court over the same land.

They indicated that the defendants who are standing trial in the court with suit No.E1 /SHC/42/ 2023 are Solomon Mintah, Nii Akwaanor IV, Mushey Akwanor, Enock Djan, Abu Majeed, Mallam Bawa, Abdulai Aryeetey, Mohammed Yakubu and Alhaji Mutala Mohammed.
Mr Abu Majeed and other defendants, according to the documents showed by Takyi-Yankson have continued with their unlawful construction work, working day and night and especially on Sunday being service day, under heavy police protection from the Danchira Police Station of the Ghana Police Service without recourse to the order from the court of competent jurisdiction.

They have accused the police officers at the Danchira Police Station for supporting Abu Majeed and his workmen to defile the court to develop the land under borne contention in Manhean and the affected land developers called on the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare to call Abu Majeed and his workmen to order to forestall peace in the area.

The Chief Executive (CEO) of Unikings Ventures Limited, Mr Kingsford Takyi-Yankson  working for the allodial owners of the land, the Kwaku Datre Royal Family of Manhean through the plaintiff, Solomon Agyiri Quacopoome on behalf of the lawful representative of Nii Kwaku Datre Family of Manhean, seeking an Interlocutory inunction under Order 25 rule 1 of CI 47.
The matter travelled through the Court and the Court presided over by Her Lordship Mrs Justice Doris A. Daba-Bekoe on June 22 2023 granted the order for interlocutory injunction against the nine defendants including Abu Majeed and his workmen.

The Judge stressed that the defendants either by themselves, agents, servants, workmen, privies or other persons developing or dealing with the land in dispute are restrained from interfering with the disputed land till the final determination of the suit.”
This news outlet has ,however, gathered that although the court has served the interlocutory injunction on Abu Majeed, his workmen and other defendants, they had defiled the court processes served on them while busily working on the said land

Mr Takyi-Yankson and the elders of Kwaku Datre Royal Family are upset over what they say as Danchira Police officers silence on Abu Majeed and his thuggish groups attacked on land developers and their workers in Manhean and the Danchira Police officers perceived support for Abu Majeed and his thuggish groups.
According to them, there are currently threats to, and severe attacks on some workers of the Chief Executive (CEO) of Unikings Ventures Limited, Mr Kingsford Takyi-Yankson who are working on the lands at Manhean.
Attached relevant documents to support his claim that Mr Abu Majeed and his thuggish groups have built structure on the land within a very short period and are still working under heavy security protection, Mr Takyi-Yankson lamented that their lives in danger due to the activities of the land-guards in Manhean enclave.
Takyi-Yankson told Soireenews.com that the  thuggish groups of Abu Majeed numbering about 30 wielding guns have attacked  his workers and some residents at Manhean and also squeezed others testicles.

According to him , the notorious gand guards attacked them on their lands and tried to stop them from grading their lands and reselling them to others.

"These are some unlawful acts Abu Majeed embarked upon, on this previous Sunday the 12th of November 2023, as we were at worship, he found a furtive way to delegate his thuggish group numbering about 30 to the land on which the court restrains him.
They thronged the land and where I have already given to a customer to develop which currently reaches footing leve. The land-guards of Mr Abu Majeed destroyed the corner pillars as the pictures depict and then, they boldly resold that piece of land to one Vida Adams, their customer by erecting her corner  pillars. Can this bring tranquility and development to a community? Over to you,I GP,?Takyi-Yankson rhetorically asked.

Aside this development, Takyi-Yankson noted that on Tuesday November 14, 2023 as we the plaintiffs were in the Sowutuom High Court, Abu Majeed again authorized his customers to work on disputed land with impunity.
He added that these workers are working under the auspices of Abu Majeed while one  Enock Djan had clandestinely hidden himself during the ongoing building construction, guarding them against my interruption of their activity.
"My site Director intentionally called the Danchira Police, but they replied they were busy but if it were to be Abu Majeed who called for police assistance, they would have instantly reached there, and had us arrested," Takyi-Yankson.
