Most Ghanaian Christians are Hypocrites - Ewuraba Esi

Ewuraba Eesi has accused typical Christians in Ghana of being hypocrites.

The National Gospel Music Awards New Artist of the year nominee has lashed out at her fellow Christians for what she says is a despicable situation.

She outlined that Gospel artistes do not get their songs patronised well even though a lot of people claim to be Christians in Ghana.

According to her, if a large number of people claim to be Christians how come the tracks of gospel artistes like her do not get massive numbers in streams.

"When gospel musicians release a song it should just move but I'm saying it emphatically without any apology that the typical Ghanaian Christians are hypocrites"

This she says is why most Ghanaians are only surface Christians while speaking n an exclusive interview on Kyzz 89.7 FM, Takoradi.

When asked by the hosts why she thought of the "Christians" as hypocrites by honest Vincent Nyarko she answered:

"I'm saying this because if we say we are Christians when you release a song they should embrace it well and push the song."

Now let's see, we have Gospel musicians who have now become secular artistes. When they were gospel artiste we never heard their songs, immediately they became secular artiste their songs are spreading but we're claiming to be a Christian nation that's why I'm saying in the Gospel arena things are not so smooth and easy".

"So those demonstrating Christian characters 90percent don't patronize the gospel?" she concluded.
