Mmrantehene Wages War Against Wearing Of Mini- Skirts At Awutu Bontrase Awubia Festival--Offenders Will Be Lashed 20 Times In  Public
The Mmrantehene for Awutu Bontrase in the Central Region, Nai Kwame Larbi, has  cautioned the youth especially the ladies to desist from wearing Miniskirts in this year's Awutu Bontrase festival, offenders shall instantly received 20 strong lashes in the public.
 According to the chief,  the  indecent attires some young girls do wear have paved way for men to sexually abuse and this has led to so many unwanted pregnancies in the Ghana hence the punishment.
The traditional ruler said that, girls who wear provocative dresses during this year's edition of the 2023 Awubia festival will be severely punished by the festival taskforce.
Speaking in an interview with Angel Television monitored by Soireenews.com, the chief pointed that the traditional authorities of the area have taken this decision in order to prevent the young ladies in the community from dressing improperly during this year's edition of the Awubia festival to prevent teenage pregnancies in the area.
