With the music "Rainbow Connection" playing, LeBlanc captioned the photo, saying, "Matthew, it is with a heavy heart I say goodbye." "To be honest, I think some of my best memories are from our times together."

He went on, "It was an honor to call you my friend and to share the stage with you." "I will never forget you and I will always smile when I think of you." Never!

During their ten seasons together on the popular NBC series "Friends," where LeBlanc played the amiable and sardonic Joey Tribbiani and Perry played the sardonic and charming Chandler Bing, the two grew friends.

"Brother, you're finally free. Spread your wings and soar." Many thanks, LeBlanc wrote. "And it looks like you're keeping the $20 you owe me."

The group was well-known for having a close bond both on and off the program.

Following Perry's passing, LeBlanc, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer all released a statement saying, "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew." We were not just coworkers on the show. We are a household.

“There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss,” the statement went on to read. “In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world.”
