Burna Boy, a superstar from Nigeria, has received seven nominations for the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards.

 With his music, Burna Boy is currently leading the march of Nigerian music internationally. His songs have helped him win numerous honors and sell out prestigious venues.

The BET revealed the nominees for the 2023 BET Hip Hop Awards on September 8, 2023.

Burna Boy caught everyone off guard when he received seven nominations, including those for Hip Hop Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for his collaboration with 21 Savage on "Sitting On Top Of The World."

The hitmaker, who just dropped his 7th album, "I Told Them," was also nominated for Best Lyricist of the Year, Hustler of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Live Performer, and Best Hip-Hop Video.

With 12 nominations each, Cardi B and 21 Savage are at the top of the list, followed by Drake (9 nominations), Burna Boy (9 nominations), and DJ Khalid (7 nominations).

The 2023 BET Awards will be filmed in Atlanta on October 3 and will air on BET at 9 p.m. ET/PT on October 10 of that same year.
