Masom Masom’ market women calls on STC to intervene in their evacuation by SMA     

                                                                               
Traders selling on the ‘Masom Masom’ stretch are calling on

the Sunyani Traditional Council to intercede on their behalf following the decongestion exercise by the Sunyani Municipal Assembly.  

According to them, the SMA has not made any provision for their relocation despite their plea ahead of the exercise.

Speaking in an interview with Soiree news, they alleged the SMA had taken GHC320 from each of them for a new place that has not been provided.  

They said, trading at the Nana Bosoma Market was not safe as thieves and drug peddlers keep harassing traders there.

They have since charged the SMA to refund their monies as they plead with the Sunyani Traditional Council to intervene on their behalf to stop them from being evicted.
