For Muslims, the Holy Month of Ramadan is a time for spiritual reflection and growth, and to help those in need. 

It's in this light that the Chief Executive officer of the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), Hajia Abibata Shanni Mahama Zakariah made a donation of some food items to the Chief Imam.

She was accompanied to the Imam's residence in Accra by her Deputies, Board and Management of the institution to support the Muslim community in this holy month. 

The items included 40 bags of Rice,15 cartons of Milk,10 cartons of Milo ,5 boxes of Tea and a cash amount of 5,000 cedis. 

Hajia Abibata, reiterated Masloc's mission to support micro and small scale businesses, especially by youth and women, explaining the institution's readiness to assist as many individuals as possible to improve their livelihoods. 

She also appealled to the Chief Imam to continue in the spirit of this holy month of Ramadan, to pray for continued peace and prosperity for the country, as well as Masloc.

Hajia Abibata noted that Masloc will continue in its efforts to improve as many lives as are within its reach.

The Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the CEO and her team for extending such a noble gesture to the Muslim community in this holy month.
