Ismaila Sarr

Ismaila Sarr is next on Manchester United’s list, talkSPORTS reports.

The Watford winger speculated to be a target for Jurgen Klopp but signing Diogo Jota from Wolves ruled out any possible move for the Senegalese.

The Red Devils are stuck, unable to convince Borussia Dortmund to lower their asking price for Jadon Sancho. A ‘leave it or take it’ bid was reported by the Mirror as the only option for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side and failure for Dortmund to consent to it will lead to a total back off.

The transfer window is in its closing stage and time seems running out for the Red Devils.

TalkSPORTS has made known that Sarr could make a move to Old Trafford if the Sancho deal remains dormant.

“It’s our understanding that Manchester United have added Ismaila Sarr to their extensive list of transfer targets,” talkSPORT's Alex Crook reported.

Liverpool have not reached agreement for Sarr

“He’s a player who had been on their radar since even before he joined Watford, but this is very much fresh interest as the Jadon Sancho saga rolls on.

“Sancho is still the one Ole Gunnar Solskjaer really wants, but United are nowhere near agreeing a fee with Borussia Dortmund, so they have drawn up a list of alternatives, of which Sarr is most definitely one.

“Watford need to reduce their costs following relegation last season, so they would be open to selling Sarr if they receive what they would consider a viable offer of at least £45million.

“Or, worse case scenario, maybe a loan deal with an obligation to buy for big money next summer just to ease the burden on their payroll.”

Sarr is Watford’s £30m record signing from Rennes who scored five and provided eight assists in his 28 match outing in the Premier League before they were relegated.
