The Chiefs and elders of the Twifo Ashire community in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa District of the Central Region are boiling with anger at a young man who claimed to be a man of God,  Mr Kofi Amani popularly known as Kofi Nya Asɛm Hwɛ for refusing to appear before them.

The anger of the chiefs and elders of the area stemmed from the fact, Mr Kofi Amani, a resident of Twifo Ashire community on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, invited by the chiefs and elders to answer the sexual abuse charges preferred against him by a wedded woman of the area (name withheld).

The information available to Soireenews indicates that the man of God has been hauled before the chiefs and elders of the Twifo Ashire for being accused of using sugarcoated words in an attempt to have sex with a young wedded wife.

But the young man believed to be in his thirties refused to show up and rather sent his biological father to appeal before the chiefs and elders of the wife Ashire community.

According to the sister in law of the wedded wife, "Sɔfo Nya Asɛm Hwɛ" called the woman in question and tried convincing her that, her mother-in-law (her husband's mother) is a very big witch and she is the cause of her childlessness.

The man of God was reported to have told the wedded woman that it is because of the witch of her husband's mother that was why the lady has been in marriage about a year now without birth.

And that in other for her to give birth, God has directed him (Nya Asɛm Hwɛ ) to sex before.

However, the decision of Mr Kofi Amani to have sex with the lady, according to the sister of the lady did not go well with them as they reported the misconduct of the man of God to the traditional authorities who had summoned him to appear before them.

Following this development, the chiefs and elders were supposed to sit on the case on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, to continue with the judgement, but Kofi Nya Asɛm Hwɛ did not appear before the chiefs.

The accused person asked his father to come and plead on his behalf before the chiefs to give him another two weeks for him to appear before them.

But the appeal of the young man wasn't accepted by the chiefs, hence the chief of Twifo Ashire, Nana Kofi Ntiako IV rejected the request and charged the father to tell Kofi Nya Asɛm Hwɛ to appear before the chiefs and elders next week or face his wrath.
