The body of the victim has been deposited at the Saltpond Mortuary as the Mankessim police are on investigations.

A man alleged to be in his forties has been found dead in an uncompleted building in Saltpond in the Mfantseman Municipal of the Central Region.

The body was found lifeless with his penis caught off, suspected to be a homicide.

Speaking to Central Regional Soireenews correspondent Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, some eyewitnesses explained that, they saw the lifeless body on their way to search for nim tree. They quickly run and informed the people and the chiefs of the town about the incident.

The people in the area have revealed of living in fear and panic for the reason that the unknown murderer could be staying in the area and since he has not been caught, it could be that this is just the beginning for his mission.

They pleaded to leaders in the community and region to provide them security since the route is been used by school children and market women.

The Assemblyman of the Saltpond Nkubeam Electoral Area, Honorable Francis Ekow Dotse explained to Soireenews that, he suspects the victim was murdered in a different town and his body dumped in the area.

According to him, the man struggled with the killers due to the wounds sustained on his body. 

He assured residents that he will help to provide security in the area.

The chief of the community, Nana Kwaw Bonko also appealed to the Assemblyman to do everything possible to provide security and enough street lights to brighten every corner of the community.

"Lighting system in the community is bad especially in the night, there is darkness in some conners in the community which bad people can take advantage of.

He also appealed to residents to weed their bushy environments.
