A full loaded tipper truck with registration number, BA 594-P has clashed a motorbike rider at Gumani a suburb of Tamale to death, injuring another. 

 Soireenews gathered that the deceased motor rider offered the lady who is currently battling for her life a lift from town before the sad incident happened on their way.

The deceased, identified as Sharif was riding towards the Tamale airport stretch as the tipper truck which was also heading to town, allegedly crossed and crushed them, killing the rider instantly.

The accident occurred few minutes to 11 pm on Tuesday.

The young lady who was critically injured after the accident has been sent to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for medical attention while the body has been deposited at the same hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, the police have sent the truck filled with extracted sand from sea to their station for investigations.
