The majority, Minority Leaders Clash Over Date To Feature E-LEVY In Parliament.

The Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu questioned the leader of the other side, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, why the majority was delaying the work of the house.

Many, including Parliamentarians, thought that the electronic transaction levy (E-LEVY) will be first on the business agenda, during today, Tuesday, February 1, sitting, but it was missing, which necessitated arguments on the floor.

The Minority thinks that it should have featured, after delays in Friday's sitting but the majority thought otherwise.

Though the house had decided to take the E-Levy debate it today and subsequent voting.

The Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu questioned the leader of the other side, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, why the majority was delaying the work of the house.

He noted the Minority was ready to resist it in any form.

 The Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu said, the majority was with the Republic and that the E-Levy will feature soon but not this week.
