The veteran actress Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu's spouse, Nana Agyemang Badu Duah, has threatened to sue film production manager Kwame Borga for making untrue accusations against Ghanaian women.
In a general remark, Kwame Borga claimed that Ghanaian female actors have turned to hookups as a result of the failure of the Ghanaian film industry.
Actress Mercy Asiedu's husband was upset and irritated by this remark, which he described as slanderous.
The production manager has been asked to retract the statement and offer an apology to Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu at the behest of the royal family.
Oheneyere Mercy Asiedu, who holds a high position in the entertainment industry, described Kwame Borga as novice in the meantime.

This sparked a discussion on the internet, and Oheneyere's husband insisted that he give his wife an official apology.
