William Carvalho has reached an agreement with Leicester City, with the Premier League club now just needing to agree a fee with Real Betis.

Leicester have identified Carvalho as one of their top targets this summer and are willing to make a large investment for the Portuguese international.

However, Radio MARCA Sevilla report that, while Leicester and Carvalho have agreed terms, the English side are not yet offering close to what Betis are requesting.

A percentage of any transfer fee would go to Carvalho's previous club, Sporting CP.

In 2018, Betis paid 16 million euros to the Portuguese club for 75 percent of the player's rights, plus another four million euros in variables.

The Andalusian club had a non-compulsory purchase option for the other 20 percent of the player, depending on whether he reached a certain number of matches, for 10 million euros.
