Man United remains Sancho's only option after £117m price revealed

Manchester United are the only option for Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho after hosts of clubs are reported to have misplaced interest due to his asking price of £117m.

The English player was linked to Liverpool, Chelsea, and Real Madrid weeks ago but the Red Devils seem to be his viable option due to the heavy sum involved.

The former Manchester City academy player is keen to play in the Premier League next season but the Bundesliga team does not want to let him go for cheap, with an impressive 20 goal scored and 18 assists in all competitions so far this season.

He has also been nominated for the Bundesliga player of the season award alongside teammate, Erling Haaland.

The Red Devils occupy a fifth spot in the Premier League, a point behind Chelsea, who plays Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night.

A top-four assurance will fortify Sancho’s interest hence his decision to wait till the end of the season.

If City’s two-year European ban is not upheld, a fifth spot could guarantee the Red Devils Champions League football.
