Land-guards Shot Workers Working  For Land Developers In Kasoa Millennium City
Information reaching Soireenews.com indicates that the armed land-guards allegedly working for one Kwasi Alhaji have shot and wounded some building construction workers working for the land developers at Kasoa Millennium City Sector Ten (10) in the Central Region, amidst insecurity, fear and panic in the area.
The Soireenews.com gathered that these miscreants/land-guards shots and wounded the workers when they demanded the digging fees from the victims who told the land-guards that the owners of the lands had already paid the digging fees to the people who sold the land to them. 
In this sense, according to the sources, the 
victims/workers showed the receipts of the money that was paid as the digging fees to the land-guards but the land-guards got annoyed and fired gunshots at the victims and fumed that "it not the receipts that they are going to eat."
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com, some residents at Kasoa Millennium City Sector Ten, Gomoa Fetteh, Dominase and their adjoining communities who are victims of land-guards attacked lamented that they continue to live in fear due to the constant threats of land guards who go about their activities with careless abandon in these areas.

They pointed out that these land guards alleged to be hirelings of an estate developer operating in the area who go about harassing residents, demolishing people’s buildings and forcefully taking over land and properties belonging to individuals in the area on daily basis.

They stated that not even formal complaints to the Ghana Police Service will deter the thugs from carrying out their dastardly acts as they are said to have the backing of some big men in society.
Mostly armed to the teeth, they revealed that the land guards invade individuals developing their properties in these areas, assault, beat them up and in some cases demolish properties without any authorisation.

According to the residents, the constant harassment and molestation by the land guards have left most residents in these areas in fright as they are subjected to the tooting of gun shots on daily basis.
They narrated that for more than two years now, the people of these areas had been subjected to harassment by these land guards.

They noted that most of the residents had become helpless and hapless because several complaints to the police had yielded no results.
A land developer named Mr Yaw Boakye Asare told Soireeenews.com that when he together with his workers had gone to visit his land in Kasoa Millennium City, they were allegedly accosted by the land guards and beaten up.

“We reported the incident to the police and some members of the group were arrested but were released same day and nothing has been done about the issue to date. Even though a petition on the matter has been sent to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), nothing has been done about the situation yet,” he said.
