Kyebi School For The Deaf To Receive Security Boost-Akyempimhene.

The Akyempimhene of Akyem Abuakwa Tradition Council of the Eastern Region, Berimah Kwame Antwi Bosiako has noted that a fence wall would be constructed for the Kyebi School for the Deaf to ensure the children are safe and well protected for security reasons.

To him, because the school is not fenced, the children have resorted to going out without the notice of the school authorities which is also dangerous to their lives as students.

According to the Berimah Antwi Bosiako, he believes that providing a fence wall would end the unauthorized loitering of the school children and enhance teaching and learning in the school.

He also indicated that a teacher's bungalow would be built to provide accommodation for the staff of the school to enable catering for the children well.

He made this known during the ‘BRA FIE’ programme held at Kyebi on the school campus.

The purpose of the program is to call on the indigenous of Kyebi who has travelled outside the town to come home every month of December to help raise funds amidst the development of the area.

Berimah Kwame Antwi Bosiako emphasized that the move forms part of their social cooperate responsibilities of supporting the successive government in nation-building.

Against this background, he uses the opportunity to call on the indigenes of the area as well as the general public to emulate their steps to support their community.

Stressing the ‘BRA FIE’ program, he commended the Okyehene, Ɔsagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin for coming up with such an initiative to support the people of Kyebi and its environs and believes if this initiative is embraced by the people of Kyebi will bring about development to the area.
